Active Network Recovery

This service is one that has been born out of recent attacks on organizations that hold the Information Systems of an organization ransom. This is sometimes done through automated ransomware attacks, and sometimes done through an internal malicious actor through misuse of that actor’s permissive access.

Digital Integrity® has coined the term of Active Network Recovery based on an organization’s desire to regain administrative access to their organization. Our engineers and assessors are extremely effective at gaining unauthorized administrative access to a target organization through our Penetration Testing and Red Teaming offerings. These skillsets are leveraged heavily at the onset of Active Network Recovery.

Through initial reconnaissance of a network, and identifying the primary network components required for ongoing operation of an organization, Digital Integrity® assessors will map out a prioritized plan of attack of your network, with a secondary goal of unseating the current undesired administration permanently. Extensive defensive controls and reporting mechanisms are then put into place to ensure that persistence is not maintained by the threat actor. This is an extremely sensitive and time intensive process, but one that allows an organization to regain control over their own information systems and private assets, allowing them to operate once again with liberty. This is a Penetration Test for keeps on behalf of the rightful owners of the environment.
